System Engineer - Compensation: DOE in Portsmouth, Iowa

We are a Virginia based company that is seeing candidates for positions on an upcoming project.  This will be a contract position doing work for the Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation.  The work is based in Orlando, FL.  The candidate must have a working knowledge of the following: Familiarity with Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Environments. High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS). Familiar with the roles of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) systems and Command and Control (C2) systems in LVC environments. Architecture and the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF). Familiarity with processes and lifecycles for the development of LVC environments and their components. Familiarity with data interoperability challenges in LVC environments. Familiar with the preparation of various data types that make up LVC scenarios. Data modeling. Configuration Management of data, software, and federation baselines. Familiar with the roles of Simulation Object Models (SOMs) and Federation Object Models (FOMs) in LVC environments. Cloud infrastructure and the development and deployment of services in cloud environments. Database design. Familiar with training audience requirements and training objectives for multi-level training exercises.
Technical Skills and Requirements for System Engineer                                                                                                                                                                                  Must have Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.                                                                                                                                       5 years of technical experience within the past 10 years designing or developing information technology solutions.
